WaterTrek seeks to protect water and aquatic environments through education, using engaging content, accessible aquatic experiences, and by creating a community with shared values and common practices.
Building bridges between sustainable development and personal development through water, WaterTrek wishes to awaken the body and mind to the vital need to take care of our planet and ourselves, in order to better meet conservation challenges.
WaterTrek aims include:
- To bring together a network of branches in Europe along major rivers, in major capitals, and around the Mediterranean Sea, which act and raise awareness locally.
- To train ambassadors to teach and campaign in the Asian and Middle-Eastern countries most affected by the rising tide of plastic waste.
- To develop sustainable projects in the communities of these developing countries, revolving around SUP, which include social, economic, and environmental dimensions.
- To be effective both in our message and in the field, influencing our contemporaries in their consumption actions and choices, and give a taste for water back to them.
WaterTrek is present in Europe and Asia, and continues to develop local chapters. Find Out More
